Spiritual emergence, in midlife — from someone still inside his own

You reached the middle of your life with most of the boxes ticked — and right then something underneath began, quietly at first, to come apart.
The questions you had long since filed away as answered have come back, casting an even larger shadow than before, and this time they feel as if they're here to stay — for good.
The world will tell you to manage this "crisis" (according to its naming — not yours), to medicate it, to wait for it to pass.
I, on the contrary, will not do that — I am still inside my own "awakening" (rings far truer to me than crisis).
So, what to do now?
Begin where I begin: read my One & Only Truth Manifesto — free, unfiltered, and asking nothing of you but your whole and undivided attention.

You came here because something is emerging in you, in the very middle of your life, that you did not summon (at least, not deliberately) and can no longer un-feel.
So let me be honest with you, to enable you to, consciously and properly, choose whether you want to proceed with this.
I have not arrived. I am still inside my own emergence — further along the same road, perhaps, than you are, and far enough ahead to tell you what the next stretch looks like — but still (and that's what truly matters here) walking it every day. The ground that has lately begun to shift under your feet has been shifting under mine far longer.
This is not the small print most teachers bury at the bottom of the page. It is the whole offer.
I'm speaking to you from the bleeding edge of my own becoming and being. If you are looking for the one who has crossed over, keep walking — I'm not the one for you. If you are looking for the one who lives at the threshold, you have found me.
You did everything you were supposed to do, and for a long while it worked. And then, somewhere past the midpoint — possibly long before you read these sentences — the questions you thought you had outgrown returned, with an unprecedented sense of heaviness and urgency.
These will not be managed away. There is no method I (or anybody else, for that matter) can hand you that resolves them back into silence — because they are not a malfunction to be repaired; they are, rather, the most honest thing that has happened to you in years.
Now, then — anyone who tells you otherwise, who sells you the awakening in twelve steps or three masterclasses or what have you, you can, in this domain, safely assume is a, deliberate or inadvertent, crook. (And the majority, I am sorry to say, are exactly that.)
Instead, what I can offer you is something quieter, and harder to package: company in the middle of the emergence — not a way out of it, but a way to be and walk, honestly and lightly, inside it.
This is my Manifesto.
It puts the One and Only Truth as plainly as I am able to put it — and I have been expressing and transmitting it, in one way or another, for twenty-five years, on the same old road — and yet feeling fresh and new beneath every step I take on it.
The Truth I point at is not a belief, not a technique, not one more framework to add to the pile you have been accumulating since the questions first started. It is the basic truth about the nature of reality — and therefore about your own nature, since you do not, I suspect, still believe you stand in isolation from the whole of which you are an unrepeated manifestation.
I test the One and Only Truth against three conditions. It must be timeless — untouched by the change that touches everything else. It must be fundamental — the Ground all the rest stands on. And it must be all-encompassing — leaving nothing, including you, outside it.
Now, ask yourself out loud:
Is there anything in your life that never changes? Anything that Time cannot touch?
If there is — and, truly, there is — then that is where we are always walking from — by nature and definition. And my Manifesto can only begin (and end) there — here.

This is not for everyone, and I will not pretend it is.
If what you want is for the emergence to stop — for the old floor to come back, for someone to hand you the certainty you had before midlife cracked it open — there are gentler pages than mine, and the people behind them will be more than glad to sell you the return ticket. It does not exist, but they will sell it to you anyway.
But if some part of you already suspects that what is happening is not a breakdown but a breaking-open — that the questions surfacing are not the problem but the doorway — then read the One and Only Truth Manifesto, and within a few pages (if not from its very first) you will know, and unmistakably feel, whether my walking and your walking are the one and the same movement.
This read is free and asks of you nothing but your focused attention. And it will tell you, faster than I ever could in this page, whether, this, right here, is yours to take, or you still need to keep looking.
Take my hand and let's walk together; there's nothing to fear — never was and never will be.

(Twenty-five years of inquiry mark a road I am still on. My books mark the trail; there is no destination — and that is the whole point.)
